I have been doing freelance design work for the past 20 years. This work has included logo creation, website design, fliers, assets for social media, wedding invitations, and more. My most recent long-term salaried position was at Digital Turbine, where I had the opportunity to work on a diverse set of projects that enhanced my skills in UI/UX design, graphic design, and mobile advertising. I’m particularly proud of developing a couple of games myself: in some of my early years there, I taught myself enough Android app development to single-handedly produce half a dozen games that were ultimately distributed to hundreds of millions of mobile devices internationally. Every character, background, and user interface was created by me. Later on, as a member of a small team at DT dedicated to deploying notifications to millions of carrier subscribers, my responsibilities included creating the ad to be distributed. Often with little guidance from the client, I did my own research to ensure adherence to external brand guidelines while simultaneously complying with our team’s stringent image specifications. My years at Digital Turbine were fast-paced, and I’ve come out of the experience highly adaptable and with a strong understanding of business practices and design principles. I am well-versed in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma, and I am a quick learner of any additional software necessary. I have experience with both Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. My ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams has been integral to the success of previous projects, and I consider myself a highly effective communicator. I thrive in fast-paced environments and am adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while still maintaining fastidious attention to detail.
