As a journalist and media producer with over four years of experience at Somali National Television (SNTV) and Radio Mogadishu, I have developed a strong background in content creation, storytelling, and audience engagement. I have produced, written, and hosted various programs that reach national audiences, focusing on social awareness, public service, and human stories. My work combines creativity and strategy transforming real-life experiences into impactful content that educates, informs, and inspires communities. One of my most meaningful achievements is creating “Gocasho,” a documentary style program that shares the stories of survivors of terrorism and violence. In this project, I led every stage of production concept development, interviews, filming, and editing highlighting stories of resilience and hope. This experience strengthened my ability to produce emotionally powerful and socially relevant content, while also improving my skills in research, communication, and digital storytelling.
