I'm Abisai Alvarado, a senior designer with over a decade of experience in denim, sportswear, and graphic apparel. I also have a strong traditional art foundation of over 20 years of illustration experience. I own end-to-end responsibility from concept through pre-production, leading design development, tech packs, fittings, and vendor coordination to deliver quality products on time. I'm also a collaborative leader who has mentored teams, managed multiple SKUs simultaneously, and bridged fashion and graphic design across brands. My training includes studies at FIDM and California College of the Arts, and I’ve consistently delivered creative, market-ready lines for premium denim and lifestyle labels. Although my career has mainly been focused on fashion design, my original strong suit is illustration and painting. I can take any sketch, drawing or painting and convert it to a scalable digital render that is at highest resolution without losing the hand drawn or painted style and details. I enjoy illustrating, and am looking to expand my career to include more illustrating and rendering as it is my passion.
