    Lydia The Bard

    Mixing and Mastering services for the popular singer/songwriter Lydia The Bard. In this series of projects, I worked with the team to deliver high-quality masters for release across all streaming platforms and her beloved YouTube channel - which you can view here: www.youtube.com/@LydiatheBard

    Lydia The Bard is a singer/songwriter well established in the industry. She first gained recognition as a cover artist on YouTube, captivating millions of listeners with her powerful reimaginings of popular songs. Her signature style—transforming beloved Disney characters into villains—quickly set her apart, showcasing her love for subverting familiar stories and exploring darker, less forgiving narratives.

    Working with Lidya was a joy, communication was always firendly and professional and the composers I worked alongside in the team were excellent. With the team being remote, I would liase with Lydia and the composers to retrieve the project stems and vocal takes to begin my process. As a part of my service, I would offer revisions across both the mixing and mastering stages - I believe feedback is one of the most important elements to a successful project, and Lydia was more than happy to have that available to her.

    paper STAY! (Film)

    STAY! (2024)

    A short film directed by Macaulay Jones. In this project I worked as the Sound Designer and Composer, working from early conception through to final surround sound mix, master and delivery.

    This horror film tells the story of our runaway protagonist who stumbles upon a popcorn trail in the forest. Her curiosity gets the better of her when she discovers the trail leads to an abandonned cinema in the middle of nowhere. She must survive the horrors that await her in the depths of the silver screen.

    Working with Macaulay Jones was a fantastic experience, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the entire team on-set as I also was the Sound Recordist for the project. Integrating myself into the team was paramount to the creative process as I was able to truly understand the vision of the director and deliver his vision for the soundtrack and soundscape.

    My previous experience in electronic music production and sound design allowed me to design bespoke instruments and textures that depicted the emotion required for each scene, setting this project apart from everything else. I firmly believe that each project has a voice of it’s own and should be developed and nurtured in order to authentically reflect the storytelling of the director.

    As of writing this, the film is still doing the final rounds at Film Festivals and has already recieved acclaim for the soundtrack. You can find examples of my work on this project over at my website here - https://www.twine.net/signin
