Hi, I’m José, a multidisciplinary visual artist and animator based in Lisbon, Portugal. I specialize in 2D animation, video editing, and graphic design, with hands-on experience in animation dubbing, live directing, and project promotion for artists and brands. I love telling stories through visuals, from concept through post-production, and I enjoy learning new tools and collaborating with teams.
Together with a friend, I co-founded Battlecoast to promote artists and businesses through video content, post-design, and social media. My experience spans animation, design, editing, and live production across agencies and startups, and I’m continuously growing my craft while studying animation in Dublin via Erasmus.

I was entrusted to edit a video of the 40 year celebration of the CAMTIL summer camp. I was able to turn the vast footage captured over three days into an hour and a half movie. I’m glad to have been a part of that experience and firmly believe 40 years from now, future participants from the camp will still treasure the movie as those who were a part of it.
