After the collaboration on the complete redesign of all marketing collateral including brochures, qualification packages, proposals and presentations for Steffian Bradley Architects, it was decided that their subsidiary healthcare planning company, Sterling Planning Alliance, should go through the same process.
Knowing that these two logos would have to live together in countless documents as well as the shared office environment, I tried to keep with the same general structure of the logo while still giving Sterling their own graphic identity. The marketing collateral was also redesigned to incorporate the new logo mark.
My main priority while a Presentation Designer at Putnam Investments (now Franklin Templeton) was the production of factsheets for over 100 financial products on a quarterly basis to be distributed both through print as well as digital use cases. The creative team at Putnam originally determined the overall design while my team handled the data automation required to render all of the factsheets in a very tight timeline for reporting requirements. The process used Seismic (an enablement software platform) to populate all the data into PowerPoint templates laid out to accommodate all required components. We handled all the changes requiring redesigning the templates while staying within the design guidelines. The data was sourced from different databases, spreadsheets, departments and firms. Components were created to retrieve the required data and formatted to fit within the template. Each financial product had different reporting requirements and therefore required different templates, components, tables, and charts. At last count, this meant our team oversaw a total of 25 different templates to be able to efficiently produce all the factsheets each quarter. This number changed based on new products being introduced by the firm.
Created and refined PowerPoint presentations for a confidential manufacturing client, modernizing legacy content and applying a newly developed visual identity across training and operational materials. The project focused on transforming complex information into clear, engaging and visually consistent presentations while adhering to evolving brand standards. All identifying information has been removed from the samples shown here in accordance with the client’s confidentiality requirements.
I was the Lead designer / Project manager for the communication package for the new Co-worker Orientation program rolled out to all 44 locations in the US. The package includes all presentations, participant workbooks and a pocket reference guide, facilitator’s guides and editable templates used in the two day program to on-board thousands of newly hired retail Co-workers per year in a consistent manner across the country.
As part of a large-scale rebranding initiative after a corporate merger, I worked across approximately 10,000 slides, transforming a sprawling collection of legacy decks into a cohesive, modern presentation system. The content itself was often dense, highly technical and built over time by multiple contributors, which lead to inconsistencies in structure, formatting, and overall flow was everywhere. Using newly developed templates and brand standards as a foundation, I methodically reformatted and standardized 135 decks across multiple departments, applying updated layouts, typography, color palettes, and iconography while preserving the original messaging. The focus was on bringing clarity and consistency to the complex material, creating a more unified and polished experience under tight deadlines and minimal oversight.
One of my freelance projects was redesigning the presentation templates for Plymouth Rock Assurance’s 10-day new hire orientation program. The goal was to modernize and standardize the templates used across 15 different decks.
Over time, the decks have been edited by contributors across the organization, which led to a mix of graphic styles, imagery, fonts, icons, and typography. Many of these elements had drifted away from the company’s established brand guidelines. On top of that, multiple slide masters had been unintentionally created along the way, which made the decks harder to maintain and inconsistent from a PowerPoint best-practices standpoint.
My role was to streamline everything into a unified system that presented the company clearly and consistently to new employees. Working within a tight two-week timeline, I rebuilt the slide masters, standardized layouts and aligned the visual elements with the brand guidelines.
To keep the project moving quickly while maintaining consistency, I implemented a shared icon system using Google’s Material icons, giving the decks a cohesive visual language across the entire orientation program.
I collaborated on the complete redesign of all marketing collateral including brochures, qualification packages, proposals and presentations for Steffian Bradley Architects, an architecture firm that was located in downtown Boston. I also developed centralized digital library system that included all possible components of marketing collateral, such as photography, resumes + project sheets used in all marketing materials including award submissions.
Then, I established a comprehensive Style Guide/User’s Manual for the collateral library system and facilitated training sessions for the rest of the department, resulting in ~80% increased efficiency in the submission process while ensuring an impeccable level of brand integrity for all marketing materials created by Junior Designers, Marketing Coordinators + Interns.
