I'm Jake Spurgeon, a sound designer, composer, and audio post-production professional based in Frome, Somerset. I'm a member of Ishmael Ensemble, a Bristol-based group known for BBC sessions with Gilles Peterson, Glastonbury performances, and international touring. I hold an MA in Sound Design with Distinction from Bath Spa University. My compositional work spans electronic and acoustic worlds, drawing on hardware analogue synthesis, acoustic instrument recording and performance, and creative digital processing.
