Under the Trees (Short Film)

Under the Trees is a dramatic short film set in regional New South Wales, telling the story of two siblings navigating an unstable and unsafe home environment. The score reflects the emotional fragility and tension of the narrative, balancing warmth and vulnerability with underlying unease.

Composed by James Boyd Hoare, the music blends organic instrumentation with atmospheric textures, capturing both the beauty of the natural landscape and the weight of the story. The project stands as a strong example of narrative driven scoring, supporting character and environment in equal measure.
