Jazmin McShane is a Graphic Designer. She is currently a student in her Fourth year at the University of Florida, on track to receiving her Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design with a minor in Religion. Her strong work ethic and dedication to her major has earned her a spot on the Dean’s List every semester since she began her studies. In the future, Jazmin would like to pursue a career relating to poster design as it would most allow her to express her artist vision. She has garnered a variety of skill sets during her time at UF, including: color theory, typography, a foundational proficiency in animation, and a working understanding of html and javascript. In addition to her academic achievements, Jazmin has completed several freelance jobs that focused on poster design as well as packaging design. She has also completed a summer internship at the Harn Museum of Art digitizing photos for the museum collection. These opportunities have allowed her to apply what she has learned in the classroom to real-world challenges. Vibrant colors fuel Jazmin’s design practice. She feels that the ability to make a cohesive, yet diverse, color palette is the key to being a truly great designer.
