paper The Rembrandts - I'll be there for you (Theme From Friends)

The add-on song to the Rembrandts release titled L.P. We had finished overdubbing and mixing the album and Warner Television had a hit show taking off. Danny Wilde had recorded the opening theme on his own- which is heard in the first season-only. A radio station looped the intro theme and it prompted Warner Television to move on a full-length version of the song. The band came back in to the studio with all the writers from the Friends tv show as well as producer Kevin Bright and knocked this version out in 4 days time at Master Control Recording in Burbank, California. Warner Brothers released a soundtrack for the now hit tv show and East/West Records tacked the song on the end of the full-length Rembrandts album ‘L.P.’. Danny and Phil were both initially sheepish about writing music for television, but with the show in international syndication, rest assured they find it a highlight of their careers. It was very fun to be a part of all that!

paper Steve Wynn at the Bearded Lamb 11/24/25

I organized this live show for long-time touring artist Steve Wynn of the Dream Syndicate. We had a sell out that night. I ran live sound and also recorded the show for future release. As an opener I chose Detroit Band Television City which brought a complimentary Wilco-esque flare for the evening.
