An outdoor theatre experience inspired by giants of science-fiction tv and film.
we adapted & parodied scripts based on Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, and other similar properties, to create two annual shows, Summer Sci-Fi and 30 Minute Star Wars.
Aimed at providing accessible arts experiences, all shows were performed in public spaces for free, asking only for “Koha” (a Māori custom meaning gift or contribution ie anything that could further the art, monetary or otherwise).

Responsibilities include:
Reviewing and selecting videos to feature on the live stream.
Moderating the live stream chat.
Researching organisations to assess their efficacy, financial stewardship, and transparency.
Voting on the organisations that will receive a grant.

One of the brands we work with at Moonbug is Gecko’s Garage. As part of our Pride Month programme, we’ve introduced Baby Truck’s mums Mummy Truck and Mama Recycle.
I had the joy of being the voice of Mama Recycle and playing a small part in making this character come to life!
Recording the voice of a recycling truck was an incredibly odd and fun experience, but more than that, I’m stoked to have even a small role in creating more diverse media for kids & representing families of all shapes and sizes.
As a small bonus, it’s also great to have queer characters played by queer actors, even if it is an animated recycling truck!
Each year I produce an informative and entertaining video to help raise funds for Mermaids UK.
Starting with my first video in 2022 I have successfully secured a grant each year of ~£30,000.
