    In my own personal capacity I create sculptural furniture pieces that are exhibited both locally and internationally by Southern Guild Gallery and Urs Von Unger Gallery in Gstaad, Switzerland. In my work I endevour to capture the raw nature of rough organic surfaces and manipulate them in a way that shows contrast between the materials and the man made processes that form them into their sculptures.     CRUNCHBOX is a children's lunchbox that I designed while working for Maker+ Design and Innovation Consultancy. The lunchbox has individual compartments and a unique seal that keeps each section separate, contained and fresh. 8 Separate components that make up the 3 and 5-compartment versions, were injection moulded and assembled locally.     JesseJames was approached by H-Factor, the project procurement manager, to design the Discovery Wellness Experience. The core brief requirements were: Futuristic in design; Mobility, and above all User Experience. We worked closely with the digital agency BNRY, which was in charge of the interface programming, software, tech and digital solutions. A year of work later, together we were able to achieve a highly advanced, state-of-the-art and first-of-its-kind mobile medical health and wellness testing lab.…

    Over the course of a year, we worked on converting a commercial office space situated on the 11th floor of the Guarantee House on Burg Street, into a 4-storey, 270sqm luxury artist loft. The Penthouse features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a TV lounge, a kitchen, a formal lounge, a dining area, a wrap-around balcony and a double-story rooftop terrace with a pergola and outside cinema. As our first private residential project, we acted as interior designers, principal agents and project managers for the client. We also designed and manufactured many of the custom furniture and lighting pieces in the space.…
