“You’re a travel agency… Built on Shopify?!”

Karva Travel reached out to us seeking a custom search filter on their hashtag#Shopify site, where customers could select the Destination, Year, and Month and be directed to an itinerary brochure.

It was a project we successfully delivered, but not without its initial challenges. Originally, we thought a custom search filter could be easily implemented via an app from the Shopify app store. However, the closest (and free) app we came across was a ‘Year, Make, and Model’ app designed for tire and car parts businesses.

We resorted to HTML coding. By structuring the code to be as user-friendly and easy-to-handover as possible, we were able to customize this search filter in less than a week.
