As a freelance composer and songwriter, I've worked with various organizations, groups, and individuals across different genres. Creative collaborations currently include musicians from Los Angeles County, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Accra, Ghana, on projects such as musicals, albums, EPs, singles, and classical compositions. I am an experienced and trained vocalist, and I am also educated in hand percussion and piano. I am best at score production and currently more limited in beat production.

Coursework at Cal Poly Pomona included classical, contemporary, and 20th Century music theory and counterpoint, jazz and pop harmony, instrumentation and arranging, music production fundamentals with Ableton, and composing for video games and interactive media using Bitsy, Twine, and FMOD. In terms of notational software I use Sibelius Ultimate, though have a basic understanding of Muse Score as well. I've received one-on-one composition lessons and feedback from the following composers: Roger Neill, Isaac Schankler, Evan Ware, David Kopplin, and Tom Hiel. I have also received research mentorship from academics such as Dr. Jessie Vallejo and Dr. Joshua L. Truett, on topics relating to traditional and indigenous musical traditions, soundscapes, archaeology, and ceremonies.

My time at the University of Ghana included coursework such as Traditional Music in Ghana, Ewe Drumming, and Ashante Twi, as well as a combined internship with the School of Performing Arts and SoundBay Productions, a company actively associated with Ghana's National Theatre.
