John Cardona Avilla

Hello there! I’m John, also known as Jonah on social media, a passionate, self-taught visual artist driven by emotion, sensitivity, and a poetic sense of beauty. So far, my work has been exclusively personal, born from a lifelong urge to create emotional atmosphere with a feminine, delicate aesthetic.

I strive to merge academic precision with contemporary expression, crafting visual stories that feel like quiet attempts to understand the world, and my place within it. I specialize in digital media and watercolor, blending traditional techniques with intuitive storytelling. My artistic voice is shaped by the expressive use of color, light, and composition, with a style that shifts between academic realism and conceptual minimalism. Based in Colombia, I’m open to work with clients worldwide, offering commissions, book covers, illustrations, and collaborative projects. I believe the most powerful truths require no words, only to be seen!
