In this project I worked on post production, and the audio files where very harsh, due to the lack of proper infrastructure in Afghanistan. Our Afghan journalist was recorded at our studios, therefore I used some basic E.Q. , a gate, de esser, compression. However the challenge came on the audio from the remote which was distorted, also heavy background noise and dynamic inconsitancy. I had to use the spectral frequency in Adobe Audition to really manually erase the hard problematic regions. I also used a bit of denoise, E.Q. compression, manual editing without a gate. It was quite an amount of work but I was able restore and master the session which is now available on https://www.twine.net/signin
Now we are working on a new series which will be also translated to English with overdubbing.
