I am Jordy Goussey, a knitwear designer, educator and fashion professional with a multidisciplinary background in knitwear design, product development and fashion education. I studied at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts and the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, where I learned to blend creative innovation with technical rigour and commercial insight. I currently serve as a Lecturer in Knitwear Design & Conceptualisation at AMFI, teaching both industrial and domestic knitting techniques and guiding students toward sustainable, experimental textile approaches. I also work as a freelance knitwear and fashion designer, supporting brands through the full design and development process—creating knitted samples, building detailed technical packages, managing production follow-up, and translating creative concepts into commercially viable knitwear collections. My practice spans design, prototyping, technical development and education, and I strive to bridge craft with digital technologies, ecological thinking and strategic execution to deliver high-quality knitwear collections.
