I’m José Elgueta, a Chilean visual artist known as Tukuart. My work spans digital illustration, painting, muralism, and sculptural objects, all guided by a symbolic, magical and contemporary shamanic approach. This distinctive style allows me to create visual worlds that act as portals — graphic narratives where spirituality, nature, and the future converge. I develop my work through evolving series that take many forms — from large-scale murals and ceramics to art toys and digital prints — all unified by a ritual aesthetic and a deep exploration of the human experience. Through this multidimensional practice, I seek to collaborate with brands, curators, and collectors who are looking for more than just visuals: a symbolic and visual experience that inspires, transforms, and awakens.

    paper LOLLAPALOOZA chile 2025

This is my collaboration with Lollapalooza Chile 2025.
I was given complete creative freedom to develop the pieces, and I chose to focus on a more abstract approach—one rooted in what truly connects us: our senses.
My intention with these illustrations was to capture the sensations we experience when listening to music—that moment when we become fully immersed in sound. I wanted to translate that sensory connection into visuals.
I chose this direction because I believe that in festivals like this one, what truly brings us together are the emotions we share. Music holds a unique power: it’s universal, transcending age, gender, and race.
Beyond cultural differences, our sensations are both unique and deeply similar. That’s why this entire project was built from that place—the sensory experience as a common ground.
