I’m José Pedro da Silva, from a small town in the countryside of São Paulo, Brazil. Since I was a kid, I’ve always been deeply connected to images, movies, games, and music videos, and to the emotions visuals can create. Growing up, working with film never really felt like a real possibility to me, but that changed after I moved to Buenos Aires. At 20, I discovered cinematography and realized it was the first thing that truly felt natural to me creatively and personally. Since then, I’ve been fully dedicated to studying, practicing, and growing professionally in this field. More than just work, cinematography became the way I express ideas, emotions, and connect with people.
