I’m Julian Damm, a filmmaker based in Berlin and co-founder of the film production company Hemle 35. My passion for visual storytelling began at an early age through analog photography, where I developed a strong sensitivity for composition, light, and color. Before fully pursuing filmmaking, I worked as a social worker in a youth housing program. During that time, I directed my first music video for one of the residents — an experience that became a turning point and inspired me to dedicate myself to film.
