In this video, I present the UX Motion system developed for the Wayfarer project. The core challenge was to create a lightweight, interactive interface that moves beyond static video, focusing on “code-ready” components for real-world implementation.

By choosing Rive, I was able to transform passive animations into intelligent assets. Using complex State Machines, these components don’t just decorate the UI—they react to system status and user behavior in real-time.

[Project Highlights]

Interactive Navigation: A custom Tab Bar featuring integrated Hover and Active states.

Transactional Feedback: A dedicated checkout flow logic configured to respond to backend triggers (Success vs. Error states).

Performance: Ultra-lightweight vector files running at a constant 60fps, designed to save development time and avoid roadmap bottlenecks.

Fintech UX: Transaction Feedback System
The Challenge In financial interfaces, waiting for a transaction can cause user anxiety. “Did the money go through? Did it fail?”. The goal of this UI Kit was to create clear, reassuring feedback loops for a payment gateway. The motion needed to be friendly, lightweight, and informative.

The Solution I designed a set of state-based micro-interactions focusing on the three pillars of transaction UX:

1. Expectation (Processing): Using a recognizable metaphor (the wallet) to show activity without boring the user.
2. Confirmation (Success): A “dopamine hit” animation to signal safety and completion.
3. Alert (Error): A clear but non-aggressive shake effect to prompt user correction.

Technical Specs:

· Format: Lottie (JSON).
· Workflow: After Effects → Bodymovin → JSON file
· Performance: 100% Vector-based (No raster images), optimized for mobile data.
· Frame Rate: 60fps for fluid responsiveness.

Effective Voice User Interfaces (VUI) rely on clear visual feedback to bridge the gap between user intent and system response. This project breaks down the motion system for an AI Assistant, focusing on the fluidity between functional states.

The challenge was to create a continuous narrative through morphing shapes, guiding the user through the core stages of interaction:

Idle to Listening: An inviting activation.

Processing: A dynamic waveform transition indicating data analysis.

Active/Persona: The final morph into the “Robot” avatar, establishing the assistant’s identity.

Optimized for Lottie/JSON, ensuring lightweight implementation without sacrificing the smoothness of the animation.
