When a Canadian-based company specializing in audio engineering contacted me (K Production) to create a series of technical clips for resellers and technicians, the challenge was to film everything in a single day at their studio to meet certain constraints.
After reviewing the scripts for the six segments, I was able to plan the shots, coach the presenter, and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera.
The visual signature, the integration of strategic animated graphics, precise camera angles, and targeted video captures all contributed to the project’s great success.
The numerous positive feedbacks strengthened the company’s brand image while ensuring a prolonged lifespan for their products.
Inspired during the pandemic, the song Put It Back Together served as a playful excuse to explore the world of music.
K Production became an officially registered label, and the song (on Spotify as well as about twenty other streaming platforms) led to the creation of a music video.
The promotion of the video on major platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok) included 6 images, 6 teaser videos, a collaboration with an international influencer, 3 live broadcasts, a giveaway, and the worldwide premiere of the video.
The entire campaign generated several thousand organic views.
Although I was working full-time as a Web developer at the time, my passion for filmmaking would never have let me pass up the opportunity to direct, with the help of over 60 collaborators, 7 short films totaling more than an hour of viewing time.
The company, from a serious and conservative industry, had the original idea of showcasing its various departments and staff to potential new employees, students, and interns, in order to stand out from the competition.
The employer managed to show its fun side by sharing these clips, which sparked pride, joy, and a sense of belonging during various special occasions, and continued to do so over several years.
