Intern (Signal and Telecommunication Engineering) at Vizag Steel Plant (Visakhapatnam Steel Plant)

During the internship I worked on microcontroller programming, interfacing, and embedded circuit testing. I gained hands-on experience with RTL design, verification, and simulation workflows, and built small-scale embedded communication modules. I also learned about fiber-optic communications, control room systems, signaling equipment, and plant-wide network operations, along with industrial safety practices. I applied digital circuit design, logic synthesis, and simulation workflows and collaborated with VLSI teams to verify RTL designs using industry tools such as Xilinx Vivado, ModelSim, and Cadence tools.
