A gift in high school led Kajol to where she is now. A small gift from her father had a significant butterfly effect on her life. Always arrested by the urge to steal moments in time and keep them safe with her, photography has always been Kajol’s closest friend. Capturing beauty and revering it forever is what made her pursue the art of photography. She understood quite well that the whole world can forever be in front of our eyes if one knows how to lock it in your camera. Realising that photography is what makes her heart truly ecstatic, Kajol decided to do her graduation in the same. With the drive to be better with every picture she took, she started travelling to understand the workings of natural lights and how she could use them to her advantage in order to capture the best version of all those photos. Kajol soon realised that it’s the beauty of people that allures her the most and that’s what made her try fashion photography. To refine her art, she soon started assisting some photographers who were already doing great in the industry like Chandrahas Prabhu, Meetesh Taneja and Ravi Dixit. Kajol has also worked as an assistant photographer alongside Meetesh Taneja and covered some of the biggest events of this industry like Filmfare Awards and Nykaa x Femina Awards. Not only this, but her work has also appeared in multiple international fashion magazines like Assure, Elegant and Imirage. It has also been featured in none other than Vogue Italia. She is currently working as a BTS photographer on a documentary called ‘Para Apra’. Apart from her professional photography, Kajol loves to capture the beauty of this world.
