The client requested a 4-minute folk/tavern-style remake of an existing rock song originally composed by another musician on Fiverr. The track was intended for a character introduction, so the music needed to feel atmospheric, memorable, and cinematic while still preserving the emotional identity of the original composition.

For this arrangement, I completely reimagined the instrumentation using medieval and folk-inspired elements such as hurdy-gurdy, flute, dulcimer, soft cinematic strings, and atmospheric tavern textures. The original guitar solos were replaced with custom hurdy-gurdy lead sections inspired by the source material, but carefully rewritten to feel natural within the medieval setting rather than sounding like a direct copy.

A major focus of the project was dynamic progression — starting with warm and intimate tavern-inspired sections, then gradually evolving into larger and more emotional moments with layered strings, rising melodies, and cinematic folk energy to match the character reveal and emotional build-up.

The final result blends fantasy ambience, medieval orchestration, and emotional storytelling to create a unique reinterpretation of the original rock composition #musician #composer #arranger
