🎬 Golsana (2017) – Original Score by Karang Karbasi | Feature Film

Golsana and Gol-Mamad, a young Afghan couple, work in a brick kiln in Iran after illegally immigrating. Their daily life takes a dramatic turn when a tragic event disrupts their fragile balance.

The original score blends Afghan and Iranian lullabies and folk melodies with orchestral depth and modern electronic textures. Each character is sonically portrayed through leitmotifs and thematic development, supporting both emotional layers and narrative arcs.

🏆 Golsana was officially selected and awarded at more than 20 international film festivals — including Houston, Brooklyn, Salento, Slemani, Dhaka, and others.
📺 It was also broadcast on BBC Persian as part of the Aparat program, reaching a wide international audience.
