Barkhani-e Rostam (2025) | Original Music by Karang Karbasi

🎥 Barkhani-e Rostam (2025) – Part of an experimental feature documentary on Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh.
This segment depicts one of the most tragic episodes of Persian epic literature: the confrontation between Rostam and Sohrab, where Rostam unknowingly kills his own son in battle.
🎶 The score is inspired by Persian archetypes and traditional instruments, blending ancient motifs with modern cinematic textures. It reflects both the epic grandeur and the deep sorrow of this timeless tragedy.
