I'm Kathleen - a graphic designer and illustrator based in Gold Coast, Australia. I graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Design in 2023. Growing up, I was always watching animated movies and reading as many fantasy and sci-fi books as I could get my hands on. I was amazed at what people could create for others to enjoy and this influenced me to become a graphic designer and illustrator. My main goal as a designer is to be able to bring people’s ideas to life no matter how strange or out there they may be. I love to create imaginative pieces that catch your eye as well as focus on inclusion and educational content in my work. Drawing upon my own interest in Greek mythology, I illustrated an eye to be used as the key focal point of the design. Orpheus is not allowed to look back at the love of his life Eurydice as he escorts her back out of the underworld. Ultimately he fails at this and they are both sent back to the underworld.
