I started creating content and managing social media brands in my free time alongside my design job, as this progressed I decided to move on from my design job and pursue this full time. Beginning my own marketing studio has taught me many skills, such as content creation, editing, photography, research, scheduling and time management, client management and enhanced my graphic design skills.

Fashion and Print Designer at Dunnes Stores

After starting, the Senior Designer took maternity leave, making me the sole designer to create collection stories and prints and expand these through homeware and accessories, focusing on each design stage with Joanne. For trend forecasting I use the WGSN website, staying up to date with relevant trends and creating regular trend forecasting mood boards to share with the team and discuss relevance to the Joanne Hynes brand. Effective communication through fits, and liaising with suppliers on sample ETAS has progressed our ss25 development and buying season without delays and despite staff shortages. Designing emails for our mailing list, assisting Press with PR captions, editing collection blurb, Ecomm image sequencing, and copy notes, and directly shaping the brand.
