Creative and versatile graphic designer and illustrator with over 10 years of experience in the publishing industry. Specialized in book design, typesetting, and illustration for a wide range of genres—including children’s literature, fiction, poetry, scientific and academic publications. My education combined classical art training—including etching, linocut, and acrylic painting—with modern digital tools. Over 10 years ago, I cofounded the Czech publishing branch of the Swiss publishing house Rabten, where we worked in a small team. I was responsible for typesetting, graphic design, and all publishing-related activities. I typeset the book Waldvilla for the Liberec-based publishing house Bor. The author himself approached me for this collaboration. The book later won the Book of the Year of the Liberec Region 2022 award in the Fiction and Poetry category. The book's design and typesetting received very positive feedback from both the jury and readers. I also worked on the project Wake Up Call, where I designed the entire layout of the journal and its graphic styling, and created the full visual identity of the project—from logo design to additional brand elements. My work includes a variety of projects: cover design for academic publications, hand-drawn and digital artworks, illustrations for children’s books, dictionaries, and bilingual books. In addition to my design work, I write poetry, children’s literature, and short stories and articles. I have a deep interest in fine art photography, which inspires and enriches my creative process. Currently relocating to Switzerland, I am seeking opportunities to contribute to creative and international teams.
