Hello, I am a 29 year old songwriter and composer currently writing for myself, I’ve been passionate about music since I was in infancy. I have been actively playing since I was six as a snare drummer in a marching band moving to a full kit participating in any project I could get involved in. I have increased my skill set learning bass guitar and piano and started writing and performing my own songs at 13. I have two BTEC qualifications in music and a degree in professional musicianship and songwriting. I was lead vocalist and co-writer in a band called “brick on a rope” a rock/rap act that saw minor success around the Bristol music scene playing many headline shows and played alongside acts such as “Crazy Town” famous for the song “Butterfly” and more, and there is still a debut single on Band-camp. We disbanded due to covid and having to return to our home towns spread across uk and was no longer sustainable. Since then I have broadened my skills in composing writing beats for other artists collaborating with other upcoming artists. I have also been working on arrangements that could be used in media and have a library on Logic Pro X with over 1000 compositions from dance and electronic to rap, rock, funk and jazz and more. I am a keen writer with a hunger for writing and creativity of original ideas. I am a rapper as well so I am used to writing lyrics and singing in all genres. I am open minded and see the best in all styles of music from contemporary to cultural. I am used to using Distro kid and understand social media and algorithms. I managed to get a freestyle to of 20,000 views and over 2000 interactions. I am ambitious and like a challenge and I’m a problem solver.
