Hi! I'm Laura pronounced (loud-ah), a Full Stack Engineer with a non-traditional background and a deliberate, relentless path into tech. With 2,000+ hours of training across community college coursework, a technical bootcamp, self-directed learning, independent projects, and Ada Developers Academy, I built React applications, led Agile ceremonies, and won a Cascadia JS scholarship. All before completing an apprenticeship at Amazon Web Services where I owned a backend project for the Copy Snapshot API, collaborating cross-functionally with engineers. My cohort nominated me to be the student speaker at our graduation once our apprenticeships concluded.
