I am Leo Tribe AKA Leogical, I’m a 17 year old Hip Hop / Grime artist with autism from Warrington, UK. Endeavoured in music from a young age, I have always been involved in music one way or the other. Besides producing rap music, I also play piano and taught myself how to play guitar. I have the rare ability of being pitch perfect; which means that any note played on the musical scale I can recall in a matter of milliseconds. Ever since a young age, I have been fascinated with Hip Hop after watching countless music videos on MTV of Eminem, Tupac, Ludacris and DMX. I then decided that I wanted to try this myself and started to write my own lyrics at the age of 8 years old. After many attempts of song writing, I finally wrote my first full-length song "Champion" in 2011. This song was one of the many 11 songs featured on my first release "The Story EP" which was a very DIY release. Only recorded in the space of 2 hours with a Guitar Hero USB Microphone, I received some negative feedback. This made me more determined to release the follow up in a mixtape "The Story". This was recorded in a month with new studio equipment, the downside to this was that the production of the tracks was not yet perfect and I hadn’t quite developed my own unique style. After countless hours of watching and listening to artists surrounding me, I developed my style; and thus writing my first track dedicated to my hometown "Made In Warrington" which the name was also a self-titled release "Made In Warrington EP" which was recorded, mixed and mastered in the space of a year and received good feedback and more fans. I also started to perform more, also winning a school talent competition "The Great S Factor" in June 2013. I began regularly performing in youth clubs and even auditioning for ITV's "Britain's Got Talent" in November 2013 which unfortunately I did not succeed well in. In 2014 I released my 2 disc debut album "Behind The Music" which is selling considerably well in a local independent music shop. This year seems to hopefully be a great one; now being sponsored by Hushush Media, working and crafting my next entirely self-produced album "Independence Day" and have even managed to gain a spot on the Bugzy Malone show in Liverpool as a support act. Now with more and more life and musical experience, there is no telling on how far I will go.
