    uniE621 Southeastern Trains
Brief: To create poster images that evoked nostalgia but excited a modern day traveller. To increase ticket sales to the coastal towns and weekender travel. Application: Attention grabbing hand painted illustrations that engage with the public. Once scanned I edited them in Photoshop and completed the layout in indesign. Print and social media assets were made of all designs. Outcome: The final designs spoke to southeastern’s customers with great reactions on social media and an uptake in tickets sales. This resulted in a further four projects within the same year.
uniE621 Page & Sons Trade Day Visuals
Brief: To design and manage the print work for the company Trade event ‘Spring Portfolio Tasting’ . This included, invitations, interior graphics, a wine portfolio document and a tote with branded merchandise. The Trade event had to capture new accounts, educating them on what Page & Sons had to offer whilst also being exciting for the existing customer base. Strong visually with a clear brand message. Application: Using photoshop and indesign print work was created from a variety of existing images and sourced imagery. I created the tag line ‘Your Perfect Drinks Partner’ as well as updating the logo sub heading to ‘wine & spirit merchants since 1804’ from ‘family wine merchants since 1804’. Liaising with company directors, account managers, printers and suppliers to ensure everything was designed and delivered on time. Outcome: There was a great response to the event on social media, new accounts signed up and the event saw attendance increase 25% on the previous year. photo graphicdesigner branding designer
uniE621 Poster design 6 Par 4 Festival, France
The Brief: To capture their headline act Zaho de Sagazan in an expressive portrait. They wanted my signature portrait style of broad brush strokes to align with her free spirited performance style and personality. The artwork must be suitable for use across posters, programs and social media posts Application: The final design was raw and free and captured Zaho’s expressive nature. The scanned original painting was edited and a poster and program cover was created in indesign. The textured brushstrokes were used as a backdrop for the social media content. The lush green brush strokes pulled the whole campaign together across print and digital. Outcome: The festival atwork was well received The brush stroke background was so popular is was used across other events by 6par4. Zaho asked to keep the original acrylic painting too. illustrator branding graphicdesigner designer portraitartist contentcreator
uniE621 Fat Face 'Happy Hours' Social media campaign
The Brief: To create an illustration for use across their social media channels that captured the ad campaign ‘Happy Hours’ giving it a personal touch that captured the customer’s attention, evoking the question ‘ When are your Happy Hours?’ Application: Social media reels and carousels were created using my illustration process. A video reel showing the process interlinked with the photo shoot which was filmed at Dreamland in Margate and posted to Tik Tok.Instagram/ Facebook: Outcome: The illustrations resonated well with these channels, as a result the original painting was used as a giveaway promotion. The printed skirt was among the best sellers within their campaign. photo graphicdesigner illustrator designer
uniE621 Calvisana Wine - Page & Sons Wine Merchants
The Brief: To create an ‘own label’ wine brand for Page & Sons WIne Merchants that could be sold to accounts as a mid range wine in a selection of popular staples. Pinot Grigio delle Venezie, Pinot Grigio Rosé and Montepulciano. The styling of the wine had to look quintessentially Italian yet approachable. The Application: The Cera font was given. The remainder of the logo must feature the surrounding countryside of Verona in a muted colour palette that didn’t distract from the wine information. An attractive table wine that would be bought predominantly off of a wine menu. The Outcome: Currently just under 25% of Page & Sons accounts are stocking the Calvisana range on their wine lists. photo logo branding graphicdesigner designer drinksbranding packagingdesign winelabeldesign
uniE621 Herne Bay Poster and Map- Canterbury City Council
The Brief: To put Herne Bay on the map! The goal was to create a map and poster that showcased Herne Bay’s old time seafront and businesses. To draw the community together and detail attractions and the Cultural Trail. Placing its proximity to other local attractions such as Reculver. Application: I created the catch phrase ‘Herne Bay The Hidden Gem’ as it sums up the forgotten nature of this seaside town. I used a mix of hand painted illustrations and vector based illustrations to form the map base. Using the local businesses to draw interest through a featured business section. A double royal poster and an A3 foldable map. The hand painted illustration acted as a poster base and front cover for the map, with digitally added ‘Discover’ or ‘Explore’. Outcome: The map was a community project initially funded by The Little Green Bookshop, Herne Bay Coastal Community Team and the Rotary Club. Once Canterbury City Council saw the initial work on the map and poster they added additional funding for further maps and posters and they were added to Herne Bay train station platforms also. The map gained press coverage which resulted in more visitors to the town. graphicdesigner webdesigner branding designer photo logo map infographics
