Back in 2023, I found myself at a loss with work (as we all did at 20, I'm sure), and I had a passion, I just wasn't sure where to place it. I spent my savings on a Canon camera and shot anything and everything I could, predominantly action, as I quickly discovered that seemed far more interesting than shooting landscapes, although I'm sure my A-Level Photography teacher would disagree. I started advertising my services to rathletes on the circuit. I received little to no interest. I continued to grow my skills, shadowing creators at events, and learned to utilise my camera to the max by working on something as basic as auto focus features on my neighbour's chickens. Figuring out why some things work and some don't, and enduring to keep trying and learning all that I could. I continued to look up to a lot of incredible sports videographers in the field of equestrian (particularly eventing), and wondered how on earth they did what they did and got the clients they got, from purely being freelancers. They were celebrities to me. Fast forward 3 years; 2 cameras, 3 lenses, bad colour grading choices, multiple long nights in press rooms & more repair bills that I care to share - I am right there in the mix, with them. I've built relationships with international athletes, award-winning brands, and athletes who have represented their countries at the Olympics. They now choose me to help bring their ideas to life and help them share their experiences through their own personal accounts and businesses.
