    Well and Whole Magazine Concept Health is an important aspect of a person’s life. The Well & Whole magazine cover design is based on the concept of overall health in mind and body. The creative process and direction for the design is to show health in a creative mindset. A white silhouette of a head represents inner peace, and the succulents that form like a human brain symbolize tenacity, strength, and selfless love. Succulent plants can survive and endure harsh elements and can stand the test of time. It signifies peace, healthy living, persistence to never give up, it is a strong symbol of love and personal relationships. Succulents also grow and develop for a long time through their leaves and stems. Searching for the right image and style of the graphics is key to achieving the look and feel of the cover. Most of my photos and graphics are taken from Adobe Stock. The inspiration for the cover graphic consists of a composite image of succulents’ shapes like a brain, a human brain with flowers symbolizing self-care, mental health, positive thinking, and a creative mind. The image by Berit Kessler, as seen in the credits for the cover, embodies these concepts. The mood and color scheme are shades of soft pastels of green, peach, lilac, and blue hues. Sagona Bold serif font for the title has strong, versatile feature that looks great on headlines,s and Satoshi Sanserif font family for the body text styles look clean, clear, and easy to read. The magazine manifests the quality of one’s Wellness and Wholeness. The wellness aspect encompasses the emotional-psychological health, behavioural, and mental processes that is essential for better well-being, decision-making, and living a happy life. Through our minds, we can build a strong and better relationship with ourselves and others. Our feelings affect and dictate our state of being. The wholeness aspect is finding one’s creative ability through our body, our talents, and creativity.
