* Fiction: Writing romantic historical fantasy as Kady Ambrose, launched award-winning debut novel ALL THAT SHIMMERS in 2025, along with prequel novelette. Publishing pipeline includes WIP sequel and four completed manuscripts for a second series. * Short Fiction: As Kady Ambrose, publications include BUILT TO LAST in Omicon World Entertainment’s Automobilia speculative fiction anthology and PAPER HEARTS in the Words With Heart anthology from Elderberry Press. As Kady Winter, have published ultra-short romance stories in Woman’s World magazine. * Feature Film: Produced writer and co-writer of two feature films, CUPID’S PREY and À TOUS LES VENTS DU CIEL and the TV movie HOPE RANCH. Have written features for numerous producers, including Bonne Pioche (MARCH OF THE PENGUINS), who engaged me to co-write three feature scripts. Recognition includes Nicholl Fellowship Top Ten Finalist, among others. Film credits on IMDb. * Short Film: Wrote and directed several award-winning narrative shorts, including LE CHAT EST MORT starring Elizabeth Perkins. In addition to the short films’ festival runs, recognition includes Accolade Awards of Excellence and Merit. * Theater: Wrote two produced 10-minute plays, CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? and DOG DAYS. Directed world premieres of IT’S GOOD TO BE CRAZY at LA’s Hudson Theater and acclaimed playwright Mark Troy’s PAGING DR. CHUTZPAH, plus multiple staged readings in Paris of Colette Freedman’s SISTER CITIES, which I helped adapt into French, as well as a staged reading of DAYBREAK, a screenplay I had co-written, featuring Beth Grant. * Poetry: Three poems in French published in Bloganozart’s Journal #9 in 2025. * Newsletters & Essays: Currently write and publish A QUILL’S LIFE author newsletter for my mailing list and A QUILL’S SCRIBBLINGS newsletter on Substack, each twice a month.
