I graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, with a degree in Dramatic Writing and a concentration in plays in May of 2016. While in school, I interned in editing at Cliché Magazine, Topix Media Lab, LLC, and at Marvel Entertainment. Due to my internships in publishing, I ended up working as a journalist, focusing on video games and technology.
I’m currently a freelancer covering technology and gaming for outlets like PCMag and XDA Developers, writing featured articles and reviews of desktops, laptops, and handheld gaming PCs. Previously, I was a Staff Writer for Laptop Mag, a subsidiary of Future PLC. I reviewed laptops, tablets, monitors, and handheld gaming PCs. I covered general tech news, maintained several of our key buying guides, interviewed key figures in the industry, and wrote opinion pieces focused on our areas of coverage. I specialized in hardware, thanks to my previous job as a Lab Tester at Future, supporting Laptop Mag as well as fellow tech sites Tom’s Guide, Tom’s Hardware, and TechRadar.
Prior to Future, I was Games Editor at Bleeding Cool, setting the tone for our gaming coverage and coordinating reports from our staff Games Writer and a team of freelancers. I’ve also been working as a freelance writer and editor since 2013 for various online publications with bylines at IGN, Tom’s Guide, CGMagazine, and Bleeding Cool. I’ve also written for print publications, most notably with a featured story in Diver Magazine. I have also kept up my scriptwriting skills by writing a number of scripts for Frederator Network’s YouTube channel The Leaderboard, including the script for “14 People You Meet in Every Fortnite Match” which has 2.4 million views currently. In my spare time I work as a scuba instructor at Pan Aqua Diving in Manhattan.
