Meet me, Mackenzie Wolfe, a digital artist residing in the picturesque landscapes of Greeley, Colorado. With a rich tapestry of influences spanning European folklore, fairy tales, and gothic literature, my artistic journey is a fusion of dark enchantment and ethereal beauty. From a tender age, my fascination with art blossomed, nurtured by the tales of the Brothers Grimm, the haunting verses of Edgar Allan Poe, and the mystical allure of European mythology. These narratives, steeped in macabre elegance, ignited my imagination and set the stage for my artistic odyssey. Drawing inspiration from luminaries such as Alphonse Mucha's intricate elegance, Leonardo da Vinci's unparalleled mastery, and Vincent van Gogh's emotive brushstrokes, my work transcends mere visuals, evoking a profound emotional resonance. However, my influences extend beyond the realms of traditional artistry. Influenced by the visionary storytelling of Don Bluth, the whimsical darkness of Tim Burton, and the distinctive aesthetics of Wes Anderson and Alberto Mielgo, my creations embody a unique fusion of cinematic flair and artistic finesse. Having embarked on my digital painting journey at the age of twelve, my evolution as an artist is a testament to my unwavering passion and dedication. Despite the constraints of my small mid-western town, I embarked on a quest for artistic enlightenment, eventually finding solace and inspiration amidst the scenic vistas of Colorado. Now, as I pursue my degree in Graphic Design and Rich Media at AIMS Community College, my talents continue to garner recognition. My works grace the hallowed halls of MONA (Museum of Nebraska Arts) and adorn the pages of The AIMS Review Magazine, captivating audiences with their evocative allure. With seven years of experience in digital painting and an insatiable thirst for creative exploration, I am poised to carve my path in the realms of digital artistry, weaving tales of wonder and enchantment that resonate with the soul. Using my talents in illustration and storytelling, I hope to achieve a position in illustrative design.

Education

Associates of Arts at AIMS Community College
August 21, 2021 - May 10, 2024
During my time at AIMS I was a work study for the Construction and Trades center. In the autumn seasons of 2022 and 2023, I had the privilege of collaborating with the Northern Colorado Construction Sector Partnership and AIMS Community College. Together, we crafted engaging activity sheets, eye-catching flyers, handy bookmarks, and various other materials for their prestigious construction convention. This event was meticulously tailored to capture the attention of high school juniors and seniors intrigued by the prospects of a career in construction. It provided them with invaluable insights into the myriad benefits, opportunities, and diverse positions awaiting them in this dynamic field.
