Since graduating back in 2005 with a BA/Hons in Graphic design, I´ve worked on a wide range of projects within the field of Motion Graphics. Projects ranging from the areas like Advertising, Broadcast production, infographic animation, and exhibition content. With my background in Graphic Design, I strongly believe in starting from a good concept and letting this govern the rest of the process. I follow design principles and really refine the message in order to communicate something compelling and not merely attractive. With 3D software giving me huge creative potential, I can create moods and effects that would be otherwise be impossible. With a passion for lighting, I draw inspiration from other fields like film, photography and this is translated and adapted into my work. I´m on a constant quest to reduce and refine to the core building blocks that make up a compelling image. I am a true supporter of "less being more" and I am constantly considering the necessity of what composes my images and their integral value in the overall composition. I am constantly evolving, adapting and really value the importance of staying inspired. I believe this passion shows in my work and I take great pleasure in conveying these aspects that really excite me. I take an idea to reality and express it with personality and character. With my toolset at hand I have the ability to visualise my ideas. Working with traditional animation principles, I understand what it is that is needed to create certain characteristics and use those techniques and details in my work. I am looking to be involved in a team of like minded people where we can bounce ideas off each other. A team in which I can continue to evolve and progress.
