Inspired by residents’ stories of the natural world, the Urban Fox animation spins a fairytale of Higham Hill, where a bright-eyed fox wanders through the wetlands.

The Urban Fox is a multi-disciplinary project to transform a busy alleyway in Higham Hill with a mural design, pollinator friendly planters and augmented reality animations to give the wall a “second life”.

Led by story producer and curator Kate Hampel, artist Tom Jackson of Wood Street Walls Modular Media and animator Maggie Nightingale The Digital Story Company has co-created an urban nature inspired design and animation in a series of workshops with foster families and the wider community of Waltham Forest.

2D Animation exploring the complicated impact of generational trauma. I was 7 when I overheard my normally stoical father collapse on hearing that his father had taken his own life. Sadness and anger gave way to my father embracing the whimsical and beautiful aspects of life.

A short animation I made - just a stream of consciousness project. I love to work this way.

2-minute animation which I wrote and directed. This animation won several awards as an independent animation project. This was the first stop-motion project I submitted to festivals, and it won a couple of awards, and also received some honourable mentions.

Story, storyboard art, award-winning script and animatic. Currently in production, this is my second independent directorial project.
