I’m Malene Engelund, an author, copywriter and translator with a Masters in Creative Writing. I specialise in producing copy and core narratives for the creative industries and I translate Danish novels into English for readers and publishers who value clarity, voice and engagement. I work with galleries, publishers and creative companies to craft accessible, engaging texts across a range of formats including catalogue copy, press materials, newsletters and fundraising applications. My writing moves freely between Danish and English, the commercial and the artistic, the factual and the fictional. I’ve published poems and articles in a range of English-language anthologies and magazines, including The TLS, The Guardian, Dazed and Poetry London. My poetry collection 'The Wild Gods' was published by Valley Press in 2016 and i Have another book 'Gather' forthcming with Corsair in 2027.
