This project explores the idea of tea as a ritual, where every blend becomes a story and every sip — a transformation. Inspired by symbolism, and nature, I created a series of premium tea packaging designs for long cylindrical tubes.
Each blend is represented by a mythical animal:
Tiger embodies strength and clarity, paired with the warmth of black tea, citrus, and spices.
Fox symbolizes balance and intuition, reflecting the freshness of green tea, mint, and herbs.
Dragon represents wisdom and harmony, expressed through the delicacy of white tea with jasmine and lotus.
The illustrations combine surreal, symbolic elements with botanicals and key tea ingredients, merging natural forms with mythological imagery. This project is inspired by the Slavic tale of Vasilisa, where a skull with burning eyes becomes a guide through the night.
Here, the skull is not a memento mori, but a vessel of hidden wisdom. From its hollow gaze flows light, which slowly transforms into flowers and botanical forms. Shadows give way to bloom, reminding us that even in silence and obscurity, renewal is possible.
