The son of a piano player Wes Bachorski and the grandson of the mandolin and violin player Bernard Bachorski – Marcin Bachorski is a Warsaw based Jazz guitarist. He also is the composer of some dozens of original instrumental pieces and songs and the founder of an acid jazz group Kameleon. Although the group received only local acclaim, it took part in a TV5 documentary on people in their twenties and their influence on European culture. Marcin Bachorski gained his guitar skills through studying with such great Polish guitarists as Zbyszek Dziubinski and Remigiusz Kossacz and mastering with Tony Romandini – a true jazz guitar legend – with whom he studied at Vanier College in Montreal. While in Montreal, he played with such musicians as Giulio Pampena, Tiffany Pontes and Alex Gelfand and jammed with a great tenor sax player Chet Doxas at the famous House of Jazz –La Maison du Jazz(former Biddle's) and at Nyk’s. Unforgettable jam sessions led by the two incredible Montreal area guitarists – Jim Head and Joe Grass combined with Chet’s tenor sax voice were on weekly basis.
