HP Z800 – Integrated Live Action + 3D Character Animation

In this HP Z800 promotional campaign, the agency concept centered on visualizing how the workstation accelerates creative pipelines. Artists’ sketches in an ad agency setting were brought to life as fully animated CG characters integrated into live-action plates.

My role involved developing the full character lineup: visual exploration, silhouette studies, expression passes, color design, and final production-ready character sheets. The designs had to translate effectively from 2D concepts to 3D models while maintaining distinctive personality and readability on camera.

The finished pieces showcase seamless compositing of stylized CG characters into real environments—office rooms, hallways, and meeting spaces—demonstrating the workstation’s capability to support complex 3D workflows from concept to final render.
