Since I was a child, my grandfather and my father, during the summers spent in their workshop, taught me their manual skills and that sensitivity for materials typical of artisans, a mix of experience, respect, savoir-faire, and taste for beauty that has always fascinated me, to the point of leading me to abandon my music studies to dedicate myself to the world of design. I studied Accounting and then Industrial Design at Politecnico di Torino. From 2010 to 2015, I worked at Serralunga, a company that produces design furniture for outdoor use. I began as an intern in the technical office, eventually taking on the role of R&D manager, where I developed projects for internationally renowned architects and designers. Over the years, I presented the Honey and the Babà lamps at the Salone del Mobile, designed in collaboration with Arch. Raffaella Mangiarotti. Seeking new challenges, in 2014, I began collaborating with PZ5 Cobra, a semi-artisanal company specialising in mechanical components for the motorcycle industry, including special parts designed and manufactured in-house for Supermoto, Cross, and Enduro races. I developed markets by personally overseeing the commercial aspects and establishing a distribution and assistance network with partners worldwide. I designed the new brand identity, together with the e-commerce catalogue and the exhibition stands for EICMA. In 2018, following the passing of one of the two owners, I assumed the role of COO and reorganised the company to enhance its efficiency and production quality. With this in mind, in 2021, I began the redesign process for the entire product range, repositioning the brand in the highest market segment in terms of quality, aesthetics, and functionality. In 2024, I established my design studio in Biella, where I continue to specialise in designing special parts for motorcycles, as well as furniture and lamps. I have also developed a growing interest in the world of collectable design. --- I love exploring objects with my hands, and I adore well-made and straightforward things. My approach to the project is curious and practical, with a particular focus on the innovative use of materials and objects. I have consistently developed a strong technical foundation that enables me to innovate in production processes and effectively communicate with artisans, suppliers, and engineers. I love the timeless shapes and the wisdom of anonymous design products. I lead my project investigation with curiosity and creativity, guided by the knowledge and control of each implementation phase. Both aesthetic value and functional value are equally important. I am passionate about music, and I seek beauty in everything, recognising its universal communicative value.
