I am a friendly, courteous & helpful person with a passion for supporting and working with young people. For sixteen years, I worked as a Technical Coordinator for QUAD in Derby. In this role, I was often required to assist & guide customers, as well as liaise with clients in a professional, warm & hospitable manner. I am a quick learner & am keen to develop my knowledge & understanding. I have a thorough understanding of technical requirements desired in a theatre and cinema environment. My duties there included maintenance, administration & programming, mostly for the cinema and events department. We would regularly liaise with clients to facilitate events and presentations of all kinds, including the performing arts. Recently, I completed Safeguarding & DBS training, as well as for fire safety. I also worked in the CSA role, assisting with ticket sales and cafe work where I handled. Creativity is a passion of mine & the communicative skills I’ve learned through performance would surely prove very useful in enthusiastically engaging with folks in any required capacity.
