Maria Rivadeneyra is a Mexican stand-up comedian, producer, and radio host based in Vancouver, Canada. She has been performing comedy in English and Spanish for over four years and was a BC’s Funniest Female finalist in 2021 and 2022. She is the creator and producer of Comedy with an Accent, a show that highlights immigrant comedians performing in English with accents. The show has sold out multiple times and was featured in The Globe and Mail, one of Canada’s most renowned newspapers. Maria also produces Miclingual, an inclusive open mic that allows comedians to perform in different languages.
