Used Unreal Gameplay Ability System (GAS) to implement core mechanic: players start with a default ability and switch during rounds by in-game item pickups. Implemented projectile weapons behavior, resolving crosshair vs. actual trajectory discrepancies and shot-trajectory issues when taking cover behind walls. Optimized hitscan weapons with an actor pool system. Developed state machines for lobby and gameplay flow to synchronize players during match joining and round transitions. Designed and implemented HUD menus and widgets using UMG. Also contributed to a cross-platform, multiplayer, physics-based project (Fall Guys) in Unity and C#, including ledger grabbing fairness improvements, a custom item system with asset metadata for performance, enhanced touch controls, voice chat permissions integration, and in-game metrics for dynamic challenges.
