    paper Portfolio
My work explores the intersection of visual storytelling, cultural identity, and digital design. As a visual designer and illustrator from the Pacific Islands, I create meaningful and cohesive visual experiences rooted in sensitivity, research, and artistic intention. Across my projects — from art direction and web design to illustration and brand identity — I focus on crafting visuals that carry emotion, clarity, and cultural resonance. I enjoy collaborating with teams, shaping narratives, and building visual worlds that feel both thoughtful and impactful. I’m always excited to connect with new collaborators and bring creative ideas to life with care and authenticity.
paper Kalja Magazine — Bringing the Vision to Life
Kalja Magazine is a platform dedicated to celebrating Melanesian women, cultural knowledge, and creative expression. Its vision is to offer a space where stories, identities, and voices from Melanesia can be shared with authenticity, pride, and artistic depth. Kalja blends editorial storytelling, visual culture, and community engagement to highlight the richness and diversity of Oceanian perspectives. For the official launch, I was responsible for the entire creative direction of the project. I designed and built the website from the ground up, developed the visual identity, and crafted all the visual assets used across the magazine’s digital presence. I also led the communication strategy on social media, creating the visuals, shaping the tone, and ensuring a cohesive and meaningful brand experience. This project allowed me to bring Kalja’s vision to life through a fully integrated creative process — from concept to execution — and to build a platform that reflects the strength, beauty, and cultural resonance of Pacific women.
paper Media Specialist / Digital Designer
As a Media Specialist for MWT, I am dedicated to crafting a digital presence that celebrates the voices, memories, and resilience of Melanesian women. My work harmonizes strategy and empathy: I craft visual and narrative content that embodies our cultures while addressing the needs of the modern web. Each carousel, each post, each line of text is envisioned as a space for connection. A realm where visual identity transforms into language, and where aesthetics uphold dignity. I also guarantee the visual harmony of the movement, the significance of the messages, and their impact across networks by continuously observing trends, SEO, and community dynamics. My role is that of a guide: bridging the visible and the invisible, connecting the archive and the future, I mold a collective voice that deserves to be recognized, heard, and celebrated.
paper Stamp Illustration Project for the New Caledonia Postal Office
I worked on an illustration project for the Postal Office of New Caledonia, creating original stamp designs inspired by local culture, heritage, and visual storytelling. My role involved developing unique artistic concepts, producing detailed illustrations, and ensuring each piece aligned with the institution’s editorial and cultural guidelines. This project allowed me to blend artistic research, cultural sensitivity, and creative craftsmanship to bring meaningful Pacific imagery to life. It remains one of my most cherished illustration projects, rooted in identity, memory, and visual storytelling. Find my stamp on my Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/olorinillustration/
